Reference desk staff will help you search for materials you need and will answer your questions about how to use the library.

1. Service Hours

Service Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:50 p.m

On holidays and during vacation periods, the service hours will change and will be posted.

2. Services

• Introduce reference materials and sources : We introduce reference materials and sources necessary for your research and investigation.
• Guide how to find library materials : We guide how to find and use OPAC and library materials.
• Interlibrary loan : If the library doesn’t hold material you need, you may use other university library which holds the item. We contact them and issue a letter of introduction necessary to enter other university library. (Please see the details)
• Database searching : We access and get information from ”Kanpo Joho Kensaku Service” (official gazette information database) if you need it.
• Accept application of using rare book : When you would like to use a rare book, please fill out an “using rare book request form “with the necessary information equipped at the Reference desk, and submit it by week before you would like to use. We will inform you whether you are able to use them after checking their conditions. Please ask the Reference desk for detail information.
