Group Learning

1. Group Study Rooms

Group study rooms are located in the first basement floor at Central Library.  3 rooms are available.

  • Capacity: 1~10 people
  • Service hours: Same as opening hours of the library
  • Usage guide: You need to reserve a room thru My OPAC.  Rooms are available for up to 2 hours and may reserve per 10 minutes.  A white board is placed in each room which can be turned as an electronic blackboard.  You can copy the data from your laptop through USB to the board, as well as edit/save the data with an electronic pen.

2. Learning Commons

“Learning Commons” is a space that you can use for a variety of learning activities, such as group learning, preparation for presentations, or writing essays and reports. You are even allowed to bring your own laptops. Please use flexibly this multi-purpose learning space with not only books and magazines, but also databases and electronic journals.

Group work area

There are 40 seats in Group work area. Chairs and tables are movable within Learning Commons. You can borrow a whiteboard and a notebook computer if you need them. You need account issued by ICT Office when you connect to Internet from your own laptop.

 

Presentation area

You can borrow a notebook computer and a screen in presentation area. You need to reserve area if you use for a large group study session such as preparation of presentation or rehearsal of seminar. Reserve the area the day before you use.

Learning Support area (During semester only)

Graduate students will answer your questions about learning such as; -How to write reports/essays -How to collect data for assignment -How to develop presentation.
