• If you would like to read materials neither in the collection of National Diet Library nor public libraries, please contact and ask for issuing a letter of introduction to your affiliated library (including neighborhood public libraries). We issue “One day user’s pass” for whom bring a letter of introduction, responce paper and your identification document (such as driver’s license) to the reference counter. Please check service hours of reference counter by opening schedule on library homepage.
• If you would like to use our library continuously, you may apply for the status of “Friend of Sophia University Library”.

For Librarians who would issue a letter of introduction

• If National Diet Library or public libraries possess material researcher needs, please suggest him/her to use those libraries.
• Please search our OPAC to check the holdings and inquire by FAX for its availability before issuing a letter of introduction.
