You can use Sophia University Libraries (Central Library, Mejiro Seibo Campus Library) when you become either status;

1. Eligible person

  • Graduates of Sophia University
  • Graduates of Sophia University Junior College division
  • Graduates of Sophia School of Social Welfare
  • Graduates of Seibo College
  • Graduates of Seibo Nursing school
  • Graduates of Grief Care Professional Program

2. Services

You can browse and copy materials within Copyright law. We don’t circulate materials for one day user. If you would like to borrow books, please apply for a friend of Sophia University Library.

Services listed below are not available;

  • Issuance of a letter of introduction to use other University libraries/ research institutions
  • Document delivery services from other University libraries/ research institutions
  • Responding inquiry of our holdings
  • Book purchase request
  • Use of Computer rooms(L1 and L2), wireless LAN, wired LAN within the libraries
  • Use of external databases

3. Registration

  • Fill in “One day registration form” at reference counter. Please present the document that proves your name (such as driver’s license or health insurance card).
  • We issue one-day user card after considering whether you are qualified user or not. You may apply after 17:00 on weekdays or Saturdays (while Reference counter is closed) at circulation counter.
  • No acceptance on Sundays or holidays.
  • Please check opening hours of libraries by schedule on library homepage before you visit.
