    Work to upgrade to the new Nexis Uni is delayed.

    As we announced in our "Notice" dated May 21, 2024, "Nexis Uni" will be upgraded.
    Use of the old Nexis Uni will end today, and from tomorrow, August 1st, you will only be able to access the new Nexis Uni.
    The new Nexis Uni can be accessed through the same entrance as before.

    『Nexis Uni』 Upgrade Announcement
    The database "Nexis Uni" currently under contract at the library will be upgraded in mid-July 2024. Ahead of this, the new “Nexis Uni'' can now be available concurrently. Please check here for more details.
    The specific date and time of the upgrade has not yet been determined, but after the upgrade, the old Nexis Uni will no longer be used in conjunction with the new Nexis Uni, and only the new Nexis Uni can be accessed from OPAC.

    ・The platform for the American publications database "Early American Imprints, Series Ⅰ: Evans, 1639-1800" has been changed to NII-REO(HSS):EVANS.
    ・The "Kadokawa Kogo Daijiten" has been added to the dictionary and encyclopedia database "Japan Knowledge Lib."
    - The name of the newspaper database "Yomi-dasu Rekishikan" has been changed to "Yomi-dasu."
    ・The laws and precedents database "JURIS Online" can now only be used on campus (VPN not allowed).
    - The legal information database "Lexis®" has been migrated to "Lexis+®".

    This database contains virtually every books,Bible,sermons,poetry,novels,speeches,textbooks,cooking recipes,maps,advertisements,catalogs,contracts,laws,opera,travel books published in America over a 160-year period.
    In addition to English,it also includes material in German,French, and Algonquin,the language of the Native Americans.
